When cash gave way to digital, we rebuilt for what came next.
From ATM networks to payment infrastructure.
CredoPay began in 2014 in the business of cash — building and operating ATM networks across India. Then the way a billion people paid changed almost overnight: in 2016, India withdrew 86% of its currency from circulation, and a cash economy became a digital one in a matter of months.
We watched that shift happen first-hand, and made a decision — to move with it. Rather than hold on to a shrinking cash model, we rebuilt around the rails that were replacing it: UPI, cards, QR, SoftPOS, and real-time settlement.
By 2020 that work had become CenterFirst — a full payment infrastructure platform for banks, PSPs, and fintechs.
Building and operating ATM networks across India. First-hand experience running payment hardware at scale before digital arrived.
Demonetisation changed everything overnight. We rebuilt around UPI, cards, QR, and real-time settlement rails instead of holding on to cash.
CenterFirst launches as a unified platform. 6 countries, 100+ clients, $1.5B+ annual volume — profitable, scaling, and international.
